The Pick Posters project is successful due to Black Creatives from around the world volunteering their talents to celebrate da’ culture. While this project has consistently been a labor of love, not compensating artists and designers, especially People of Color, has been an epidemic in the creative world that needs to change.
This sponsorship and donation campaign is our attempt to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. We invite you to join us by making a financial commitment and demonstrating support for changing this systemic problem.
Sponsorship Levels
Proceeds from sponsors, donations and the silent auction will be distributed directly to the poster creators to compensate them for their time and talent. In addition to the creatives, AIGA KC hopes to also raise funds that will help facilitate administrative necessities to keep Pick Poster’s presence active – including the upkeep of the platform where each creative’s poster and bio will be digitally housed – and to give back to the creative organizations in the Kansas City community that are partnering in this initiative.
