Tell us about yourself:
I am a graphic design student at Johnson County Community College, currently based in Lee’s Summit, MO, but originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. I strive to combine my creativity and technical skills to challenge the narrative of society as an artist.
What is the inspiration behind your poster design?
“Together We Rise.” That was the driving force behind this poster, inspired by the concept of Unity. It’s a visual statement on community: climbing higher when we lift each other. The design celebrates the power of recognizing our differences, proving that they don’t divide us; they are the foundation of our collective strength.
How can we create a more inclusive design world and ensure that everyone is represented?
Make room for everyone! Be an open door to all and to think of others before yourself.
