Tell us about yourself:
Originally from St. Louis, I came to Kansas City as a student at the Kansas City Art Institute, where I completed my BFA in Illustration/Design in the spring of ’95. Art, design, and the creative process is very important aspect to me. Currently I work as a designer both online and in print. Music is also a passion of mine and I actively play bass in a local metal band in the Kansas City area.
What is the inspiration behind your poster design?
I relate a lot of things/life to music, so the phrase Collective Harmony really spoke to me. Music is not about one note or point of view. It is a collective of instruments, notes, pitch, color, and cadence, all working together to produce a harmonious voice. An opportunity to come together and shine as one
