I am currently a junior in high school. I have a passion for art and musical performance, which have always been central to my life. I also compete in powerlifting at the state and regional levels.
Seeing Coffey Anderson succeed as a black country artist in a traditionally white genre of music sparked the theme “One Voice Together” for me. My goal in creating this poster was to highlight how Coffey is breaking boundaries while also bringing people together through faith, community, and country music.
This project is my way of honoring inclusion, courage, and the beauty of finding common ground through art and music. I want to celebrate how one voice can stand out, yet still inspire collective harmony, and how true unity happens when we uplift diversity rather than silence it. If we make sure that every individual – regardless of background – feels that they can belong, contribute, and be heard, then we are a stronger society.
To create a more inclusive design world, we must intentionally amplify voices and stories that are often overlooked, just as Coffey Anderson brings representation to a genre where Black artists are rarely seen. By embracing diverse perspectives and reflecting all identities in our work, we ensure that everyone feels seen, valued, and included in the visual narrative.
