Tell us about yourself:

My name is Paul Moville, a creative designer and the founder of Lebel Studio, a Multi-disciplinary Design Studio. With over 9 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with and assisting prominent brands and companies in Haiti, as well as Haitian businesses in the US. I’m a thinker and most importantly i live by passion before everything.

What is the inspiration behind your poster design?

It’s all about capturing freedom in a way that hits you in the feels. Picture this: three big inspirations. First, the idea that everyone should have the right to be free – like, no question about it. Then, I threw in the craziness in the world and layered it up like a visual mixtape of life. And to top it off, I got hooked on this track, “The Song of My Soul,” by Manito, a Haitian DJ. The lyrics are about freedom, and I embedded them as a QR code on the prison wall.

It’s not just a poster. It’s a inner voice. Grab your phone, scan that QR code, and let the music and the message of freedom hit you.

Why do you love being creative?

Being creative allows me to explore my childishness, as we grow up we tend to let life i and all its issues shadow our passion. For me, it’s a freedom, a forever-young mindset, a sense of being curious and open to life.
