What is the inspiration behind your poster design?
I’ve always loved visual storytelling through illustration and design. I really wanted to convey how we can grow and move towards a better future by collaborating with one another and working together hand-in-hand to support each other when we need it most.
Please tell us why you think inclusivity and solidarity are essential in our society…
It’s how we move forward and get things done. Without solidarity and inclusivity, we aren’t unified. When we all come together from different backgrounds and experiences, it strengthens our ability to problem solve and, most importantly, builds compassion.
How can we create a more inclusive design world and ensure that everyone is represented?
By opening the doors to allow those from other backgrounds to share their ideas and voices. We need to question default assumptions, which is why inclusivity and collaboration need to go hand in hand in the design world. That’s how we learn from each other and make design a more inclusive space.
