Hutton Eby is a Graphic Designer based in Texas. She enjoys creating robust brand identities that allow her to dance between print and digital mediums, integrating her passion for typography whenever possible. In her free time, she reads, watches old Barbie movies, and cuddles with her cat, Butter. Hutton is happily available to take on projects of all kinds.
What is the inspiration behind your poster design?
For my poster, I wanted to use a powerful message and let it speak for itself. The handmade lettering expresses the piece’s uniqueness, while the quote emphasizes the universal message of solidarity. This quote is essentially a battle cry, and I often remind myself of it. In times of confusion and chaos, it can be easy to resort to despair, but these few words always bring me back to what I know has the greater impact.

Please tell us why you think inclusivity and solidarity are essential in our society…
Without each other, we are nothing. Not one life matters more than another. Practicing kindness, empathy, understanding, and inclusion allows us to collectively look forward to the future. Love is not limitless; we can only create more of it.
How can we create a more inclusive design world and ensure that everyone is represented?
The best design comes from research. Creating from a meaningful place will always be more impactful than crafting rapidly. Slowing down and considering all aspects before designing ensures everyone is considered and represented.
