Tell us about yourself:
A KCMO-based traditional and digital artist honored to have an acrylic piece currently on display at Leedy Voulkos Art Gallery.
My passion and inspiration stem from my environment and experiences that resonate deeply. I am moved to capture those moments in various media.
What is the inspiration behind your poster design?
What inspired me to create this poster was the call to action Muhammad Ali responded to by reclaiming his identity and reminding those who conspired against him who he was.
Why do you love being creative?
I love to create because having art as an outlet allows everything around me to make more sense. With every piece of information and every experience I collect throughout my life, I can repurpose it and make something pretty.
